BEING THANKFUL
We want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support for us individually and for our ministry.
The apostle Paul wrote to the church at Philippi that supported his ministry in Philippians 4:15. He said, “Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.”
This church supported Paul financially, and apparently was the only church. Paul started many churches, but this particular church was commended for what they did to help him.
His emphasis was not just on their gifts. He continues in Philippians 4:17, “Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.”
He wanted them to grow in Christ. He wanted to see their church thrive. He had great love for them.
Because of their giving, he continued in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
You see, the principle of sowing and reaping is a godly precept. When we give out prayer, finances, helps, love, and more we receive it back in return. It may not happen overnight, but it will come.
We thank God for those of you who have sowed into our lives and ministry, and may God meet every need that you have. May it return to you a hundredfold, not just in finances, but in fruit, health, joy, peace, and love.
God bless each of you and have a blessed Thanksgiving. After all, each of us has much to thank God for, don’t we?
