LIFE A LIFE OF PASSION

Do you have passion in your life? Not the sensual kind of passion, but passion for life itself? 

Do you have passion to do something for God? What is your passion? Is it to be a leader? Is it to serve? Is it a special call, or perhaps a job that gives you great joy? 

One definition of passion is a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something. Another definition is the sufferings of Christ between the night of the Last Supper and his death. There was even a movie called the Passion of Christ. Truly there was great emotion in that film. What Jesus went through was beyond description.

When we know what God wants us to do, we must do it with passion. We must put our all into it, and pursue it with our whole being. This is what Jesus did. He knew what His purpose was and went all the way with it.

Do you know your purpose in life? Are you pursuing it with all the passion that you can to achieve that purpose? 

Whatever God has called you to do, do it with passion, and God will bless you. If you do not know what your purpose is, spend time with God, and ask Him until you get an answer. He will not send you to be a missionary in Africa without giving you the passion to do the job.

Perhaps your passion is service, then go after it with all you can give. 

Perhaps your passion is writing, be the best writer than you can be. 

You may have many talents, but there will be one main thing that God will show you as your purpose. All your talents and gifting will help you reach that purpose. 

God has a plan for each of us, yet so many do not fulfill that plan because they do not ask God to reveal it. Once you find that plan do not let anything keep you from passionately seeking after it. It may take time, and experience to get to the place of fulfillment, but it is better to try and fail, than to never try at all.

 Live a life of passion. You will be the most fulfilled if you do.
