Marketing Update
The Virtual Toronto Boat Show kicked off the year with an extensive media buy that included, search, digital and social. All began the first week of January.

A media buy on Toronto radio stations launched January 9, and commercials can be heard on 680 News, Sportsnet 590/The Fan, TSN 1050, CFRB NewsTalk 1010 and Q107.

Other advertising includes Power Boat Television on Global TV, plus industry magazines and newsletters.

A PR Campaign across Ontario is also underway.

Helpful Information & Reminders
Exhibitors may not display any product or advertisements without the endorsement or approval of the manufacturer. Exhibitor represents that it has full authority and all approvals necessary to display and/or advertise for sale its products and/or services on the Platform.

With the main goal of connecting consumers to Exhibitors and to sell inventory, one of the benefits of the new platform is to allow Used Boats to be displayed.

There have been some revisions to the way information can be displayed on the platform for attendees to view. Exhibitors who entered their products early, may want to review their information in case they want to update content. We suggest you log out and log back in to refresh your screen. A new dedicated pricing details field for entering prices of products (ie. $29,999 or $199 bi-weekly) instead of showing price in the product description.

You can now select multiple subcategories under a product. So one primary category still, but now multiple subcategories. 

"Boat Inventory" word added to the tab located on the right of your space that use to say Products / Services.

Registration link on TorontoBoatShow.com is for Attendees ONLY not for Exhibitors.
If you register as an attendee to see your consumer experience you will need to use a different email than the one you register as an exhibitor. You can't use the same emails for both.

Registering Staff:
Reminder, all booth staff must be registered with a unique email address (their own work email account), under the Company name. You will be able to upload a personal photo when the site is live. This can be done on Friday, January 15 and only takes a few minutes. See link #3 below to register staff.

Soft Opening / Site Live Date:
The show will be Live for Exhibitors on Friday, January 15. You will not be expected to be in your space. The 3-days prior to the show dates are meant for you to see the platform outside of your space, test, and minimize questions during the Live show with your customers on Monday January 18.

A newsletter will go out on Friday to provide you with the platform link.

Note: Beginning on Saturday, January 16, Consumers will begin having access to the Virtual Show to Preview Exhibits, Products, Research and plan their seminar schedule.

The show officially "opens" on Monday, January 18 at 11am, for interacting with Exhibitors, watching TIBS Live, attending seminars, interacting in Boating Community Discussions etc.

To ensure you are ready, it is best if you have your Virtual Space finalized and ready before the platform is available for attendees to preview on Saturday.

Exhibitors play a vital role in the success of our marketing and PR campaigns by submitting new products and sharing posts on social media to promote the show. 

This year, we have developed a short exhibitor survey to leverage for news angles and media opportunities.
The short survey will take no more than a few minutes to complete (only 7 questions). Your participation will help us gather exhibitor insights to support our marketing efforts.
