A Fair to Remember: Visit us at the New York State Fair
We're back! Be sure to stop by our booth at The Great New York State Fair August 24-September 5 at the Center of Progress building. Meet an archivist, ask questions, and take home information, tools and new knowledge about the State Archives and our resources and programs.

2022-23 Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund Awards Announced
The New York State Archives is pleased to announce the awards for the 2022-23 Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund (LGRMIF) grant program. 
 
The Archives received 128 applications requesting a little over $7 million. For the 2022-2023 grant cycle, 78 grants were awarded totaling $4.2 million, including 11 Shared Services awards, 54 Individual awards, and 13 awards for the NYC Department of Records and Information Services (DORIS).
 
Awarded projects cover managing inactive records, files management, management of historical records, and converting records to digital images. To see a list of this year’s grants by county, visit the LGRMIF website. If you would like to know more, view LGRMIF recorded webinars.
