A time of reflection...

As 2022 winds down, we reflect on what The Investment Diversity Exchange has built the past two years. We launched in the midst of a very uncertain, politicized, and polarizing environment. Yet, we found common ground and curated a platform for people to build long lasting relationships that goes beyond signing an LPA for the next fund. It hasn't been easy but if anyone can move the needle it's the TIDE Tribe.

Never unwavering, our core mission still remains the same: to connect and engage movers and shakers with the underlying thread to promote diversity and inclusion within the institutional investment industry. For us, it's not about changing anyone's mind from 0 to 100. If we can get people to think about diversity when they never thought about diversity, then that is a win in and of itself. That is not to say that we will stop there.

Like the forces of nature that change the face of the Earth, TIDE will continue to help erode the barriers that minorities face. Thus, giving all of us an opportunity to equally and equitably succeed in this industry.

Checking out what ChatGPT by OpenAI is all about

I've seen a lot of buzz about ChatGPT. So I tried it for myself. For those of you who aren't familiar with ChatGPT, it's a new artificial intelligence bot that "lets you type questions using natural language, to which the chatbot gives conversational, if somewhat stilted, answers. The bot remembers the thread of your dialogue, using previous questions and answers to inform its next responses. Its answers are derived from huge volumes of information on the internet."
