It's my first time on African soil. As a guest of the Bouchamaoui Family, one of the most prominent families in Tunisia, the experience has been royal. πΈπ»
As shared in my LinkedIN post, women in Tunisia enjoy certain freedoms and rights that are denied in Muslim countries. Abortion has been a full right since 1973, a right that women don't have in some US States.
The Patriarch of the Bouchamaoui Family shared with me that "The American Way" of business is considered a high standard in Tunisia. Let us uphold these high standards when advocating for and championing women's rights.
Ps. Now we know people who know people at the Tunisia Investment Authority...actually, the Tunisia Investment Authority knows them. π We'll invite them to our Barcelona event or SPARK 2025.
