New Mast to Arrive Friday at 9:00 a.m.

Due to some issues with traffic in the harbor, the mast arrival time has just been changed to Friday (August 3rd) at 9:00 a.m. (not 8:00 a.m. as previously published). We apologize for the multiple messages and any confusion they may have created.
Message on mast arrival:

Thanks to all the generous donations from SEMA supporters (like you!), we were able to purchase a new mast this past year. It is now ready and will arrive this Friday (August 3rd) at 9:00 a.m. at State Pier in New Bedford. It is being transported by truck from Washington State and will be lifted by crane onto the pier.

Let's show our Ernestina pride with a great demonstration of support when the mast arrives!  Scott Lang will say a few words, and we've invited local media to cover the event. We apologize for the late notice, but we have just received confirmation from the truck driver on the arrival time.

Please join us for coffee and breakfast pastries by the pier at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, and let everyone know how much the restoration of Ernestina means to you!

Kind regards,

Julius Britto,

SEMA President
