STATE THE CITY/SCHOOLS/LAW ENFORCEMENT - A GREAT SUCCESS!

Thank you again to our sponsors: Anchor Realty, Old National Bank, Insurance Brokers of MN, Bankwest, and OutDo Work.

Also thank you again, to our speakers, Sheriff Sean Deringer, Police Captain Andrew Johnson, Buffalo Mayor Teri Lachermeier, City of Buffalo staff Taylor Gronau, David Kelly and Jason Meusburger and BHM School Superintendent Scott Thielman.

Thank you to Bison Creek for the tasty meal and great service!
The City staff shared their projects from the road improvement plan to the Hwy 25 construction project and fiber. Also talked about residential and commercial development plans. The Buffalo Police Department is happy to say they are fully staffed, but drugs was their largest issue too.
Sheriff Deringer opened talking about the crime, grime and slime in our area:) We all had to have a little laugh at that. His presentation focused more on the lack of law enforcement students coming into the system and the severe addictive nature of Fentanyl. There were 200 saves with Narcan this last year. Also shared that theft is on the rise - so protect your valuables. Don't make it easy for them!

The School District shared that May 22nd is the date that the schools will know what they are receiving from the state surplus dollars. Dr. Thielman also shared that with the College in the Schools offerings, that parents saved over $1.38 million in college tuition and that students earned over 4700 credits through the program.
Many people and many smiles to be had at our Good Morning Buffalo last week at Biggs & Co! Over 30 of you chose to start your day off right - with your fellow members! We appreciate YOU! Thank you Amy for hosting and thank you to BJ's Deli for the delicious caramel rolls!
