Five days left. I thought it would never get here.
I can’t believe how much we’ve lost in the last 4 years.
But what I could never have predicted is how much we’ve gained.
In these dark times, thousands of heroes, including all of you, have stepped up to share your light.
We’ve cried so much. But those tears connected us, changed us from strangers into allies, and from allies into family.
So many men joined the Women’s March, so many Christians and Jews rushed to the airports to protest the Muslim Ban, so many people of all colors filled the streets during a pandemic to say Black Lives Matter. We have showed up for each other in powerful ways.
And we learned skills! We weaponized our love and became powerful agents of positive change. We not only woke up new voters – we also grew into a national army of super volunteers and organizers.
If we win this election, what has been the Resistance will become the Movement, and we will continue to push America forward in ways we never could have before.
Maybe we always had the seeds of Heaven in our hands. Maybe it just took the heat of Hell to crack them open, and it took our tears to water them, and it took an endless march to find some fertile ground. That ground is now five days away.
These are the most important five days of the last four years. Let’s make every minute count. Because there is nothing I’ve looked forward to more than crying with you all when we win. Whether it’s next Tuesday or a couple weeks later.
Who am I kidding, I’ll be crying the whole time.

TALLY RALLY NEEDS YOU!
Americans are voting early in record numbers and every single vote is vital. We are still a democracy… and we’re making sure it stays that way by insisting County Election Officials count every ballot.
You can help! Monday, November 2 and Tuesday, November 3 (with additional days added as needed after the election), meet other volunteers outside election officials’ offices. Bring positive signs, wear patriotic costumes, draw sidewalk chalk art, and snap selfies. Also help it trend on social media with hashtags #TallyRally, #DownForTheCount, and #ACoupWontDo. Come show your support for election officials and urge them to resist the pressure to stop counting from a certain orange despot (and make it doubly-effective by doing some GOTV textbanking while you're there!). DYNAMIC TEXTING FOR THE WIN
Let's sprint to the finish!! Thursday (today!), Friday, Saturday, (and if there's still work to do) Sunday, and Monday we will be texting like crazy to build the biggest blue wave we've ever seen.
Our efforts will be twofold:
1) Reaching out to reliable Democratic voters with high activism scores, asking them to make a vote plan, and to get three of their friends to make a vote plan as well.
2) Texting unregistered likely Biden supporters to ask them to do same-day registration and vote for Joe and Kamala in 7 battlegrounds (CO, IA, ME, MI, MT, NC, WI).
We'll text till we reach our final 900,000 people or run out of texting $$. This could be what pushes us over the edge into a bold, blue future. Sign up HERE!

Tuesday is going to be one of the wildest nights of all our lives... let's experience it together! Please join our informal huddle/party/support group on Zoom, where we can all watch the election returns roll in together. Fearless leaders Jason Berlin and Sarah Jakle (plus surprise guests... maybe!) will be popping in every so often with words of inspiration and/or courage. BYOB.
