ZestFest's FIERY FOOD CHALLENGE is organized by Spicy Food Productions and overseen by top hot sauce expert, Cajohn Hard. The Fiery Food Challenge is a prominent feature of ZestFest and Spicy Food Productiions, attracting hot sauce enthusiasts, industry experts, and spicy food lovers.

Here's a general outline of what the fiery food challenge at ZestFest includes...



1. Categories of Spicy Foods: The challenge usually encompasses a wide range of categories, including hot sauces, salsas, BBQ sauces, spicy snacks, and more. Participants submit their products for evaluation in specific categories.
2. Blind Taste Tests: Industry experts and judges, often including chefs, food critics, and other professionals in the spicy food industry, conduct blind taste tests. This means they evaluate the products without knowing the brand or specific details about each entry.
3. Scoring System: Judges use a scoring system to assess various factors such as flavor, heat level, creativity, and overall appeal. This helps determine the winners in each category.
4. Winner Announcements: At the end of the fiery food challenge, winners are announced at an award dinner on the Friday night of ZestFest Weekend. At the dinner top picks receive awards based on how they ranked in the overall competition.
