With the end of the pandemic in sight, buyers and renters are returning to downtown Chicago, where new residential towers have continued to rise despite the challenges of 2020. Taylor Johnson pitched client David Wolf, president and CEO of Wolf Development Strategies, a full-service development advisory, marketing and sales firm, for a segment on WGN Radio’s Wintrust Business Lunch that discussed what the reopening means for the local real estate market. Wolf’s local projects include The Reed, a 41-story riverfront high-rise in Printers Row developed by TJ client Lendlease, and 1400 Monroe, a seven-story boutique community in the West Loop. During the interview, Wolf and host John Williams touched on the market’s momentum heading into summer, who’s buying and what amenities they’re are looking for in their next home.
