Buying local and stockpiling materials and supplies are just two tactics many construction companies have been implementing to creatively beat recent supply chain issues. How local commercial real estate firms like Taylor Johnson clients NAI Hiffman/Hiffman National, Ryan Companies U.S., Inc., and Wingspan Development Group are finding workarounds for supply chain challenges was a story angle Team TJ thought would resonate with the Daily Herald, and we were right. The story resulting from our pitch explores some of their solutions to supply chain obstacles, from tapping a local vendor to provide appliances in time for an apartment development’s grand opening to renting warehouses to store appliances, lumber, HVAC components and other project materials.
