HSA Commercial Named To National List Of Industrial Influencers

Named by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum as an Industrial Influencer, HSA Commercial Real Estate earlier this year started construction on the third building at its Bristol Highlands Commerce Center development in Wisconsin. The new 447,000-square-foot distribution center is scheduled for completion in early 2022.

A list of influencers who have fueled the industrial sector’s explosive growth wouldn’t be complete without Taylor Johnson client HSA Commercial Real Estate, which is celebrating its 40^th anniversary in 2021. TJ collaborated with HSA on the award submission for GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s annual list, highlighting the firm’s decision to proceed with new projects in the early days of the pandemic, when many peers adopted a wait-and-see approach. In selecting HSA, the publication called the firm a “trailblazer” for being one of the first developers to build Class A warehouse space in Southeast Wisconsin, an area that has attracted high-profile users including Amazon, Uline and Haribo. HSA recently announced the start of construction on three new speculative warehouses totaling 855,748 square feet in Indiana and Wisconsin. As one of the country’s most prolific industrial developers, HSA is regularly quoted in TJ-sourced articles, such as this recent Heartland Real Estate Business feature, in which Vice Chairman and CEO Bob Smietana outlined the benefits of a business park location and explained why market fundamentals continue to support spec development.
