Take Me To The River: New TJ Client Friedman Properties Announces Immersive Experience In River North

One of Taylor Johnson’s newest clients shouldn’t be a new name to those in Chicago real estate. After all, Friedman Properties has been busy reshaping River North and downtown for more than 50 years. Today, the firm continues to bring first-in-market concepts to the city center, recently announcing its landmark Reid Murdoch Building will host a new, immersive theatrical experience, “Theater of the Mind,” beginning in the fall. TJ helped spread the word, leading to coverage in CoStar about how the permanent exhibit, co-created by Talking Heads frontman David Byrne, is the latest example of experiential uses filling vacant retail and office space. We also secured coverage of the installation, which is expected to draw 100,000 visitors in its first year, in Axios Chicago, Loop North News, Newcity, REjournals and The Real Deal Chicago.
