The 2019 Membership portal is now open. TLA works to ensure Texas has incredible library services to meet the informational, cultural, educational, and recreational needs of all Texans. Libraries help to transform every school, neighborhood, university and community in the state– and TLA members, sponsors and exhibitors are the heart of this work.
Powered Libraries Transform Texas
The Texas Library Association (TLA) Public Relations and Marketing Committee is working on a new public awareness campaign: Libraries Transform Texas. Sound familiar? Perhaps you’ve seen the bright, bold "Because" statements from the American Library Association’s Libraries Transform campaign.

While we transition to Libraries Transform Texas, we want to recognize the success of the Powered Libraries campaign, the ideas shared and projects powered since 2016. It’s time to celebrate this October as the last Powered Libraries Month. Share how your library powers ideas and post on social media and tag #poweredlibraries.
