St. Nick's Gravy Sleigh
TLC's Gravy Train meal delivery was so successful, it is being replicated for Christmas. Volunteers will be working to bring a Christmas meal to those in the TLC community who are living alone or may not have the opportunity to spend the holiday with family. This meal will be delivered on Wednesday, December 23. If you would be interested in a meal, please email Amanda.

Sleigh Drivers needed!!!!
Have you always wanted to impersonate St. Nick, but never had the opportunity? Well here's your chance, we need volunteers to help with cooking and/or delivering the meals. Come help spread love, joy and cheer! For more details about how you can help, email Amanda.
Local Immigrants and Covid 19
Eight Months into the COVID Crisis: How are local immigrant households faring? How are we showing up?

Join the webinar on Sunday, December 13 from 2-4 pm, to join click HERE. For the Facebook event click HERE.

ISAAC and the Emergency Immigration Fund sit at the intersection of our faith communities and our ten community partners on the frontlines working every day with immigrant households in our community. Join us for a special panel to hear from those partners (both people directly affected and their advocates) about the toll COVID19 has taken on immigrant households in Larimer County and where we are in this moment of the crisis trajectory. We will also share how your generous dollars have been put to work to show up as a faithful partner in the midst of this crisis. And we will share goals for the work going forward.
SPE Blue Christmas Service
Join St. Paul's Episcopal for their Blue Christmas Service on Friday, December 18 at 6 pm. This will be a safe space for expressing grief and longing in this holiday season that is advertised so strenuously as a time of warmth, joy and connection. If you are grieving, hurting, longing, or feeling depressed, come be in that space with others. This is also a time to acknowledge the loss of lives and connection due to the Pandemic.

Year End Contributions
As usual, your year-end contributions NEED to be post marked no later than 12/31/20. What makes this year unusual is due to County and State COVID restrictions the office will not be open, so walking your offering in will not be an option. However, from the comfort of your home, many of you with computers and smart phones, can still make an electronic donation. Please visit our website at trinitylutheranfc.org/give. We are also listed with Venmo if you use that platform.
Trinity Responds to Sky Ranch Appeal!
Trinity Lutheran Church became aware of the severe COVID-19 and fire impacts to Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp during 2020 through a November appeal for financial help to friends of the ministry from Executive Director, Brad Abbott. We were saddened by the loss of revenue, impacts to the camp property and inability to host campers in 2020, yet the main buildings were spared. The appeal was made with the incentive that all contributions would be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor.

Trinity has had a long-standing relationship with Sky Ranch through our budget and other support over the years. In that tradition, we responded with the three checks of $200, $5,000 and $1,500.

The $200 was given through our Social and Ecological Justice Ministry. This was to have been an honorarium to Rev. Peter Sawtell of Eco-Justice Ministries for preaching and teaching at Trinity last June, yet he declined this offer and hoped it could be used for some ecological purpose. We asked that this money be applied toward re-forestation around the camp.

The $5,000 was a gift of the Trinity Trust Fund. The Fund members were approached about possible support for Sky Ranch needs and responded quickly and generously knowing their gift would be put to good use.

The $1,500 was the remainder of Benevolence funds allocated for financial hardships in 2020. It was quite timely to be able to include this as a part of our response to the appeal.

Thanks be to God for our willingness to be of service to Sky Ranch in it's recovery from the pandemic and fire impacts of 2020!
COVID Reminders
As COVID-19 is on the rise, we want to remind everyone of a few things. First, if you are in need (prayers, food, money, etc), please reach out; as a family of faith, we are here to help one another and we have a great network of people who have offered support. If you have tested positive, please let someone in the office know, we would like to hold you in extra prayer and support you through this. If you have tested positive, have been exposed, or are living with someone who has been exposed, please do not come into the church building (even if you are there alone). And anytime you are in the building, please wear a mask. This helps keep the staff and all those using the building as safe as possible.
Sunday School
Joint Sunday School, with St. Paul's, has started up. We are already practicing for the Christmas pageant, followed by a lesson from Jacki and then a craft or activity led by Tiffany. If you have any questions or cannot open the link, please let Tiffany or Katie know.
