The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) alumna Carmen Ma recently joined Ralph Lauren as a Media Associate for the World of Ralph Lauren. In her role, she works on the media planning and execution of campaigns across Ralph Lauren brands in North America.

Before joining Ralph Lauren, she spent over two years at WE Communications doing PR for Microsoft’s cloud business. Rising from an Intern to a Senior Account Executive, she supported Microsoft cloud partnership announcements with Fortune 500 businesses across industries including energy, retail, and financial services. She also supported executive communications for Microsoft’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Prior to her time at WE, Carmen held internships in editorial, advertising, and project management. She has worked for businesses including a women’s publication, a boutique marketing agency, and a tech startup, where she gained experiences such as coordinating involvement in a national product pop-up tour, learning the art of cold-calling, and corralling cross-team support to help establish a company's first project management organization.

A 2018 TLF undergraduate scholarship recipient, Carmen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a certificate in Technology Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2019.

Outside of work, Carmen enjoys watching documentaries, Pinteresting, and keeping up with tennis, Formula 1, and golf. She is passionate about AAPI representation in PR/advertising/marketing and is always open to chatting with those beginning their careers in these industries. She currently resides in Seattle and is excited to eventually make her move to New York!
