MSL

2025 Graduate Fellowship

Locations: New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Detroit, Boston, Washington, D.C.

Who can apply?

  • Students graduating in April/May 2025 with at least 35 hours/week available

The program, which launched in 2023, is specifically designed to be a summer of learning through hands-on client opportunities, exposure to the people and strategies that move our business forward and the chance to become a permanent part of the MSL Family. Our goal is to make sure this summer won’t just be the most educational experience you’ve ever had, but the first chapter in a dynamic career at a hands-on, fast-paced agency.

MSL is different. Our fellowship isn’t about taking lunch orders, it’s about taking initiative on actual client work that is steeped in cultural trends & influence. As a team and as individuals, we are always living into MSL’s three values: Leading, Learning and Loving.

Leading- Leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about behavior, accountability and drive.

Learning- We believe in possibilities and embrace lifetime learners who thrive when they are stretching, building, and innovating.

Loving- Some say love doesn’t have a place at work. We wholeheartedly disagree. Loving one another and the experiences that make us different is just as important as loving what we do at MSL.

If the above description sounds like it might be the storybook beginning to your dream career, please keep reading for details on how we get introduced.

Who can apply for the MSL 2025 Graduate Fellowship program?

We’re looking for students graduating in April/May 2025 with at least 35 hours/week available, during typical business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We’re focused on recent graduates because our fellowship is the #1 way we welcome post-graduate talent into our MSL family – just last summer, more than 90% of our Fellows accepted full-time jobs with MSL.

Can I apply if I’m going to be a rising senior in June 2025?

Yes! While many of our spots will go to recent graduates on teams that may be looking to hire their Fellow(s) at the end of the program, we do still welcome applicants who will be heading into their senior year in the fall of 2024.

What are the dates of the program?

The program runs from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.

Which cities will host post graduate fellows in 2025?

MSL has 8 offices throughout the US - New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Detroit, Boston and Washington, D.C. We are recruiting primarily for New York, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Atlanta for the 2025 Fellowship. Final Fellowship placements will be determined based on individual business needs.

Is the 2025 Graduate Fellowship in-person, virtual or a hybrid?

The 2025 Graduate Fellowship program will be a hybrid program (a mix of in-person and remote work). Fellows will be expected to be present in the office at least 3 days per week.

Is the 2025 Graduate Fellowship paid?

Yes! This is a full-time, paid fellowship at $20 per hour.

Does participation in the Fellowship usually lead to full-time employment when the program ends?

Since our first year as a Fellowship in 2023, more than 90% of eligible Fellows have gone on to accept full-time roles with MSL.

How do I apply for the 2025 program?

Please submit a resume and cover letter specifying what city and practice/discipline you are interested in to 2025fellowship@mslgroup.com. (Practices are Consumer Brands and Health. Our Disciplines are Creative/Design, Digital Innovation and Strategy).
