Assistant, Digital Activation
The Assistant, Digital Activation is responsible for supporting the team in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of digital media campaigns. This position requires an individual to strategically think and problem solve while paying meticulous attention to detail. The Assistant Media Planner, Digital will work closely with senior level planners as well as the Horizon Next Analytics team to execute media plans and aggregate data to inform insights and optimizations. What You’ll Do
Campaign Management & Execution - 45%
  • Assists in management of day-to-day communication with internal and external teams
  • Collaborate with Campaign Management team for ad trafficking and site tagging, ensuring tags are properly QA’d
  • Work alongside media planner on post campaign reconciliation and billing
  • Compile specs documents and ensure all materials are received from creative agency
  • Responsible for the creation of campaign post-launch information such as screenshots, links and delivery data to demonstrate proof of placement for clients
Learning & Development - 30%

  • Participates in team brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set development

Special Programs Associate
Working closely with TLF’s Chairman & CEO, the Programs Associate will be responsible for overseeing TLF’s partnership with Elon University’s School of Communications in support of its inaugural Scripps Howard Elon TLF High School Journalism Academy (SHELA) Program. Developed by Elon, SHELA consists of four parts, half of which will provide hands-on journalism experience to high school students: Exposure, Immersion, Mentoring & Production and Funding & Tracking. As part of its partnership with Elon, TLF’s Programs Associate will be responsible for producing virtual media tours/career development and professional workshops, support Elon with its SHELA scholarship program, as needed, among other administrative tasks.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate virtual media tours and/or career development & professional workshops for SHELA students, including but not limited to:
  • Secure workshops hosts and speakers from TLF’s network of donor partners
  • Collaborating with Elon’s communications team to plan and execute virtual tours
  • Update and maintain database of SHELA students participants
  • Recruit mentors for SHELA program from TLF’s network of donor partners
