Venue Change for September 21
Fall for Theatre promises you an evening of Broadway show tunes presented by some amazing performers.

The Lancaster Playhouse invites you to its inaugural friend and fundraiser celebration Friday September 21 at 7:00 pm. We hope you can make plans to join us at a new location ( for this event only ) at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 343 East Walnut Street , for a memorable evening. Who knows what Broadway tunes you will hear that will have you humming to yourself for days?

Please help us launch our 4th season of exciting theater by joining us for this fundraising event. Performers joining in the fun will include:

Cabot Rea , (pictured here) local TV personality for 30 years and current star on the Central Ohio musical theater scene has been a featured soloist with The Columbus Symphony, Jazz Arts Group and many other local groups. His many roles in musical theater include playing Tony in West Side Story , Curly in Oklahoma! , El Gallo in The Fantasticks , Billy Bigelow in Carousel and Lancelot for the Kenley Players tour of Camelot (with Ed Ames as King Arthur). He also spent two seasons with the Ohio Light Opera Company singing leads in most of the Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire.

Jennifer Myers , who recently starred as Dolly Levi in the Ohio University Lancaster summer production of Hello Dolly .

Angela and Paul Russell, a talented husband and wife duo, seen in numerous productions throughout the region, including TLP's The Importance of Being Earnest and OUL's Hello Dolly .

Judy Rauch will provide the piano accompaniment for all these singers.

In addition to your musical evening you will enjoy:

  • A wine and cheese reception with the performers and your theater friends

  • AND, in keeping with our upcoming season theme, you will also enjoy some "Mischief and Mystery." Who knows what might happen as you might discover some fun gifts that will be hidden.

We can't do it without you! Come support your local theater and help us celebrate another year.

Doors will open at 6:30pm. All seating is general admission (some ADA seating is available).

Tickets are available on line now. Suggested ticket donation is $40.00.
