A MESSAGE FROM THE EARLY CHILDHOOD DIRECTOR
God's love for us is something that may be difficult to understand. We can't put His love into words. It is all around us, in us, for us. He gives us these gifts through our children, through sunrises and sunsets, through rain showers and star gazing. One of my favorite things to do is to take pictures of our amazing Arizona sunsets. This is a time I am able to be still, sitting atop a large boulder in the field across from my home. Seeing the colors of God's creations fills me. How can you describe a sunset to someone? Such beautiful sites are virtually impossible to describe.

In the same way, it is also very difficult to describe our awesome God.

If you take a look at Genesis 1:1-29, God's astonishing work is evident.

Isn't it awesome? God not only created it, He took great joy in doing so. Creation is incredible, and He is above all He created. He is not found in the mountains or seas or contained by time or space. It is His power that holds all of these things together. From every sunset to every star, planet, and ocean, God has not only created them, but He also sustains them.

Psalm 147:4 says "He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them." Our God is powerful. And yet, He knows you by name. "I have called you by name, you are mine." Isaiah 43:1 I have cited this verse before. It is one of my favorites. He knows you by NAME. Wow.

It is written in the Bible that He knows how many hairs you have on your head. (Does He also know how many I lose each day?!?!) He knows your heart and catches every tear you cry.

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved."Ephesians 2:4-5

By grace you are saved.

Our God is an awesome God, and there is nothing you could do to make Him love you more than He does right now. Thank you for sharing your precious children with us. We love nothing more than to share God's love with them each and every day.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6: 5-9

Trinity Lutheran School Mission & Vision

MISSION STATEMENT
We prepare our students to be disciples of Christ through exceptional education with a firm foundation in God’s word.

LEARNER OUTCOMES
Lead: Students will engage as responsible, innovative, and inquisitive learners who lead by example.

Inspire: Students will share their faith by reflecting God’s love through their words and actions, encouraging others to do likewise.

Serve: Students will seek opportunities to use their gifts and talents to support and assist others.

VISION
Faithful to our Lutheran heritage, Trinity will seek out and implement innovations in Teaching and Learning in order to empower faculty, enhance student achievement, and inspire new thinking. We will be a model for Lutheran schools.

PHILOSOPHY
We believe as disciples of the Lord, it is our God-given responsibility to share the Gospel message with all people.
• Children learn best about the love of Jesus when they experience it through the adults around them. By the power of the Holy Spirit working through God's Word, children learn most effectively through developmentally appropriate play. We provide a safe and nurturing learning experience focusing on the spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the child as they use a variety of sense, to investigate and explore the world around them.
• Each child is a precious gift with unique God-given talents and abilities.
• The school and preschool ministry are invaluable parts of the church's mission of sharing the living water with a thirsty world, particularly in homes where the family is a mission field in which the students become witnesses of the Lord and His love.
• The school and preschool are to provide the same security, love, and care to children today as received by those who sat in the lap of Jesus, our Savior.
• While parents are the primary educators of children, many families look for a Christian preschool environment in which to begin their child's formal education. Keeping John 15:5 in mind; Christ is the vine and we are the branches. If we remain in Him, we will bear much fruit. Apart from Him we can do nothing. Trinity offers parents an opportunity to join in partnership in training the child according to the Lord's direction. Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
