Here at The Merchant Strategy, our team prides itself on providing the highest level of quality work for the people, businesses, and organizations that we present whether that is through public involvement, community outreach management, or lobby efforts.

There has been a lot of talk recently about a software called ChatGPT that can assist in writing RFPs and other technical writing. This AI technology can be used in a variety of ways. It is will generate coherent and well-written texts in a wide range of styles, topics, and languages. News summaries, product descriptions, or stories can also be generated. This software can identify problems, analyze them, and provide solutions or answers to questions being generated. If you are interested in learning more about this software, please take a look at the article attached that highlights the basics of this technology.

Didier Menard, Vice President of Jacobs Engineering, and I had the great fortune of meeting a local celebrity - professional tennis player Coco Gauff in her hometown, the beautiful City of Delray Beach.

Did you know that Coco Gauff will lead the U.S. Billie Jean King Cup team against Austria in April in the first round of the 2023 competition? The tie will be played in Gauff's hometown, Delray Beach, Fla., at the Delray Beach Tennis Center from April 14-15.

WHERE HAS SAMMIE BEEN?

Where hasn’t Sammie been? To Mars, but we’re working out the arrangements now. Here on earth, Mr. Brown has had quite a busy month. He was inducted into the Beyond the Fair Young Professionals Programs with the South Florida Fair where TMS’s President and CEO, Sharon Merchant is on the Board of Directors. This program will allow Sammie to engage with other young professionals from across the South Florida Region.

Mr. Brown also attended the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches where they presented the 18th U.S. Secretary of Transportation and 24th U.S. Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao, at a luncheon event at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. As Secretary of Labor, she became the first woman of Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage to serve in a President’s Cabinet. And for fun.

And for fun, Sammie attended the ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival. This year ArtiGras was hosted by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce where Sammie currently serves as a Chamber Ambassador. Sammie served as the Co-Chair of the Merchandise committee. Sammie got a chance to catch up with lots of friends and fellow Leadership Palm Beach County Alumni in addition to seeing some amazing artists.

SALLY SAYS, BY SALLY MERCHANT

I got fleas! They were terrible and I itched like crazy. Mom got me fixed up and I am ok. Sympathy does get you a lot of chicken, so it wasn’t all bad. I am back on the job, keeping all my work friends safe. Everyone is really busy so we are ordering lunch a lot – my favorite time of day. I give Sammie the hairy eye and make him give me french fries. My new colleague, Colleen, will have to be broken in. By that I mean I will have to train her to feed the dog her lunch when she is here. I like going to gas stations, too. No locked doors are required and no one will steal my Mom’s purse. If anyone even looks my way, I bark and growl like crazy. They walk around our car and avoid eye contact. Love it! The Honda Classic came to my neighborhood. More golfers to scare. I wait until they are in their backswing to make my presence known. It's hilarious to watch them freak out. I walk away with a swagger, wagging my tail, laughing to myself.

That’s all for now.

TMS Chief of Security
