Dear TMS Families,
The start of the 2025-2026 school year is officially “right around the corner” and, as promised earlier this summer, I want to update you about staffing changes and remind you of important registration materials and dates for the first week of school.
Staffing changes and additions has dominated my office hours all summer and I am very happy to introduce you to Suzanne Jacobs who will be the Lower Elementary Assistant. She has extensive elementary experience serving as the Lead fourth grade teacher at Northwood Academy Charter School since 2005. She also holds a BS in Psychology from Penn State and an M.Ed. from Arcadia University. I know the Elementary Guides and Johanna Wood join me in my excitement about having Suzanne join the team. There has been other movements internally with familiar faces moving to different positions. Marivel Washington will be moving to the hall monitor position and Katie Caulfield will be joining the nap room and staying on to support the aftercare program. I am also very happy to announce that I have appointed Johanna Wood to be the Assistant Head of School. Johanna has done a great job in the admission office as well as serving as the leader of the educational program. Her appointment will better define the administrative structure of the school has she will serve as the Head of School when I am off campus. Please feel free to contact Johanna if you know of a family who would be a good match for TMS as word-of-mouth is still the most common way new families learn about the school.
