It's a cold one so far but you know what they say..." March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb"; fingers crossed! A great discovery in the past month's has given us a little more insight into Toronto's history as the dig for the new courthouse unearthed some hidden artifacts of the city's past. That piece is below along with a link to some great shots of the city at night.

It's no surprise to anyone now to hear that real estate prices continue to rise which, of course, is making it a challenge for many buyers. Check out my latest blog entry on navigating the waters of our market.

A plate inspired by the 1852 novel Uncle Tom's Cabin and a 19th century black doll are among items now on display in a new exhibit at City Hall, dug from under where Toronto's new courthouse will one day stand.

Market News 

Toronto Real Estate Board President Larry Cerqua announced that Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported 8,014 residential sales through TREB's MLS® System in February 2017.  Despite the fact that February 2016 had one more day due to the leap year day, this result was up on a year-over-year basis by 5.7 per cent compared to 7,583 sales reported last year.
