Welcome to my February email newsletter!

We made it through January! It was an interesting month for the real estate market. The numbers are out for January sales and they are off the charts. Sales of detached homes were up by 30% compared to January 2020 while condo sales were up by 85%. You'll find a link to the full breakdown below.

It looks like we're going to be in lockdown for a little longer (but is anyone surprised?) so in order to help you get through the continued restrictions, you'll find three links below. One gives fantastic options for heat-and-serve meals prepared by Toronto caterers, one lets you in on everything coming to and leaving from Netflix this month (if you didn't watch all 5 Bring It On movies, you're out of luck) and lastly, some virtual events.

Don't miss out on the featured listings below... including an almost 2000 square foot townhome at Radio City which promises to knock your socks off.

As always, I thank you for your past and future business...and any referrals of friends or family you may have are greatly appreciated!

Toronto Caterers Doing Ready-to-Heat Home Delivery
Cooking used to be fun. Now, after almost a year of being in lockdown, we’re kind of over it. We’re tired of shopping, meal planning and prepping, and don’t even get us started on the dishes. Here are 14 services that are offering prepped meals delivered to your door.
Torontonians Look to Protect Historic Cottages From Redevelopment
Perhaps the "workers' cottages" on Palmerston Avenue aren't much to look at, but to local residents, that's kind of the point. Built in 1871, the cottages are typical examples of working class housing that proliferated as 19th-century Toronto grew as a city and industrial centre. Few of the cottages remain today, and there will soon be fewer due to plans to convert them into newer three-storey buildings.
