LET'S TALK TECH!
Political Leadership Meets Tech Leadership:
How to turn a vacation destination into a
world-class tech hub, why bringing tech jobs to South Florida matters, and how to get it done.

With the many ongoing discussions and media stories describing South Florida’s efforts to transition into a technology hub, Miami Beach United thought it was time for local political leadership and key leaders from the South Florida IT industry to sit down for an open conversation. We will seek to better understand how furthering this goal of bringing tech jobs to South Florida will benefit all our communities; discuss the municipal approaches being employed; and explore what opportunities there may be for closer collaboration between political and tech leadership.

This is the first session in a series of that will focus on the various political, non-profit and commercial parties involved in the initiative as well as on possible next steps to further elevate our region to become the next technology center of the US.
