Also, TODAY! CCCApply Noncredit Application with SuperGlue: A PCC Success Story
Pasadena City College saw great success in its efforts to streamline the noncredit application process for students. Prior to adopting the CCCApply Noncredit Application supported by SuperGlue, it took students two to four days to complete the manual process in place at the college. Now with the noncredit app and SuperGlue in place, students are able to apply and begin onboarding in under an hour.
This webinar is a chance to hear directly from the team at PCC about what they did locally to clear the path for noncredit students. The California Community Colleges Technology Center Enabling Services team supported these efforts and stands ready to assist other colleges in the same way.

With a goal of working in the education field, Maria enrolled in Lodi Adult School to complete her high school diploma and graduated in October 2019. By March 2020, Maria was hired by Parklane Elementary as a Para Educator. Read more about Maria’s journey and her passion for helping elementary school kids learn.

PPIC: California Sees More College Graduates, but Progress is Uneven
As part of a series of blog posts examining how educational opportunities and outcomes differ across California, PPIC addresses the unevenness of California graduates. The pandemic and recession have highlighted inequities in our state and the importance of a college degree. College graduates have fared much better than other workers, as they are more likely to be employed and able to work remotely. Over the long run, demand for highly educated workers has been growing and California faces a projected shortfall in workers with college degrees—a gap that has threatened to stall economic progress and leave Californians unprepared for the evolving job market. Read more about the change in educational attainment in California in the latest PPIC post.
