St. John family today is the day!

After months of prayer and an incredible ongoing outpouring of faith-filled generosity, today (Sunday, June 4) we will officially break ground on what has become one of the most important seasons of spiritual growth in our 100+ year history as a church and school family!

As we’ve been continually reminded, beyond a 16 classroom school facility expansion and full renovation, what defines these efforts is the fact that Jesus absolutely loves kids! He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these!” (Mark 10:14b) And because they matter to Him, they also matter to us! May our Savior Jesus continue to lead us boldly and generously in welcoming more and more children and their families with His eternal love! It's going to be a really great day!

A special groundbreaking celebration video and sermon message will be shared at all worship services this morning. Please also note the unique communion schedule to best accommodate the Groundbreaking Ceremony that will follow:

Come worship then be sure to join us for the official Groundbreaking Ceremony immediately following the 10:45 AM and 11:00 AM worship services! This important "everybody moment" will include a dessert reception (Kona Ice, dirt cake, ice cream, popsicles, cookies, and beverages) served following the brief ceremony along with a photo opportunity and a small gift for all in attendance!
