KOL BIOGRAPHIES

David Dexter, MD, received his medical degree in 2004 from the State University of New York at Syracuse Upstate Medical University and completed his general surgery training and fellowship in surgical research at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Dexter continued fellowship training in vascular and endovascular surgery at New York University. As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Dexter is uniquely trained in the diagnosis and management of diseases affecting the vascular system, which includes arteries, veins and lymphatics, and specializes in endovascular surgery, the minimally invasive approach to vascular surgery.

Eric Hager MD, FACS, is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  He is the co-director of venous services and the Chief of Vascular Surgery at Saint Margaret’s Hospital.  He is an Advisory Dean in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and is actively involved in resident education and training.  He currently is the chair of the digital Media Committee and the Postgraduate Education Committee in the American Venous Forum.
