Robin Keller (UC Irvine), and Candice Huynh received the 2020 Decision Analysis Special Recognition Award. This award is given annually for the paper most worthy of recognition published in the Decision Analysis journal for that year.

MEET THE FACULTY: DR. ALIREZA YAZDANI
My name is Alireza Yazdani. I am an Assistant Professor of Technology & Operations Management at the College of Business Administration, and have been part of the faculty since 2019. I hold a Ph.D. in Operations and Business Analytics from University of Oregon, and have completed both my BS in Industrial Engineering and MBA from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. I have worked for around eight years in auto manufacturing, petroleum, and banking software industries.

Daniel Ehrlich
Status: Senior
Major: Technology & Operations Management
Full-time Position: Outside Sales Trainee at Walter's Wholesale Electric Co. in Brea, CA.
Interests: I plan to branch out to either Branch Management or a Sales position.
Advice: Start networking and learn about potential career opportunities early in school!

Jean Minasian
Status: Senior
Major: Technology & Operations Management: Supply Chain Management
Full-time Position: I’ll be joining Lockheed Martin Space as a subcontracts administrator.
Interests: Aerospace: Space-Flight. I want to focus on a position in either supply chain development or strategic purchasing.
Advice: Never stop learning! I recommend joining clubs, participating in research projects, and networking. Doing these things allowed me to open up more paths of opportunities I could take.

Erinn Dockins
Status: Alumni, Class of 2019
Current Position: I currently work at Northrop Grumman as a Program Cost, Schedule Control Analyst, or Material Cost Analyst for short!
Advice: Sharpen your Excel skills! Don’t be afraid to question questions! It’s amazing what doors open up by asking a simple question!

Heather shared her non-traditional journey that led to her passion in supply chain. Heather did inventory counts of liquor from a sheet of paper and then adapted to excel which helped her efficiently handle waves of various product demand problems when working at a casino.

Daniel Scruggs, Director II of Operations at J.B Hunt Transportation Services Inc, shared his 8-year career journey working at J.B Hunt starting as a Dedicated Manager In Training (DMIT) to his current role.

Soft Skills Workshop
The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals hosted a Soft-Skills workshop lead by Intellisense Systems Talent Acquisition Specialist and Recruiter Amy Baum Aldrich. Being a recruiter for about 10 years now and having worked in multiple industries with hundreds of interviews under her belt Ms. Aldrich taught students the importance of having soft skills.
