MEET THE FACULTY: Dr. Thang Nguyen
I am a part-time faculty at the TOM/EBZ Department. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. My main research interests are the driving forces behind technological progress. Specifically, I have worked on product quality innovation at the firm/industry and macroeconomic levels. My teaching experience at the TOM Department has reinforced my passion on quality innovation and kindled my interest on coordination and information sharing in supply chain management. I would like to thank my students for their hard work and dedication.

OMS featured Sun Kwok, Niagara's Director of Supply Chain Solutions. Their PDP program is 18 to 24 months of training and offers an HQ Track or a Supply Chain Operations Track. Recommended technical skills to succeed in this environment are knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau.

OMS featured guest speaker Heather Rourke, Logistics Quality Engineer at Mazda. She ensures the vehicles are safely delivered, makes safe travel paths, fewer touchpoints, accounts for environment adaptability, and makes sure high security is available. Heather emphasizes Tableau and Excel as the main technical skills required.
