Thank You For Attending Our Annual Partner's Appreciation Dinner!
On behalf of TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries, I would like to thank the ingenuity of our staff, outpouring of love from our volunteers, elected officials, medical, educational, foundation, corporate, church partners, and support of incredible donors, that were integral to TOMAGWA being able to provide over 28,836 visits to patients, during 2021.

This year’s event was a remarkable night filled with love & laughter. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the contributions and continued commitment of the champions of TOMAGWA, who were honored at the dinner. Your support is truly a gift!

In closing, there's still a chance to
help us reach our target of

There is an incredible offer made possible by Glenn Addison of Magnolia Funeral Home to match the funds upon reaching our goal.
We're counting on caring friends like you to help ensure that our neighbors have access to health care.

SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS!
June Is Men’s Health Month—Get Involved!
Did you know there’s a month entirely dedicated to raising awareness for issues impacting the health and wellness of men and boys?

The month also coincides with Men’s Health Week (June 13-19), a special awareness period created by Congress, and the #ShowUsYourBlue campaign on June 17 where men and women are encouraged to Wear Blue to work that day to show their support for the health and well-being of men boys and men.

The goal: Educate the public about the many preventable health problems that affect men and boys and empower them and their loved ones to move towards a healthier, happier life.

“It is important for men to get regular screenings to detect and prevent not only men’s health problems such as prostate and testicular cancer, but also general health problems including colon cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.” -Hannah Moffitt, NP

TOMAGWA strives to promote positive change in healthcare for men. Find out how you can support our male patients here.
Volunteer Spotlight!
Sue Bargaleski started as a volunteer Greeter with TOMAGWA over 9 years ago, after learning about the opportunity from her neighbor who was a TOMAGWA nurse at the time.

Sue became a vital part of the Dental department performing tasks such as greeting and checking in patients, confirming appointments, pre-packing hygiene bags for dispensing to patients, recording the dental stock inventory, data entry, and communicating with the dental team to ensure patient documents are complete.
Since retiring Sue has found that volunteering at TOMAGWA has given her the opportunity to continue serving her community.

“I enjoy my interactions with the patients and dental staff. I am fortunate to have had the luxury of working with the Tomball community my entire career and TOMAGWA has provided another opportunity to fellowship with the people I have grown to love. I chose this because it’s my passion to collaborate with underserved people and I enjoy being in a Christian environment."

When she is not volunteering at the clinic, Sue spends her free time teaching ESL classes, reading, gardening and cross stitching.
