TOMORROW Friday, March 23, 2018 at 12:00pm, Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will join renowned Dominican Painter, Sculptor, and Art Collector Oscar Abreu to highlight the contributions of Immigrants by a live painting performance by the acclaimed artist.
Oscar
Abreu is a burgeoning sensation in Washington Heights, NY and communities all over the world.
Last year, Oscar Abreu put on the first annual ArtForo, a presentation of undiscovered Latino artists, at the Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz Educational Center. Tomorrow work will be a solo exhibit and will feature a surprise piece of art being dedicated to immigrants and the communities that
continues organizing around immigrants who are deportation vulnerable.
