SUPREME COURT JUSTICE BARBARA WOMACK WEBB
CHIEF JUSTICE CANDIDATE
Justice Webb began practicing law in 1982. In 1997 she was elected to serve as the first female Prosecuting Attorney for the 7th and 22nd Judicial Districts in Arkansas. Her judicial career began in 2005 as an Administrative Law Judge for the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission. In 2015, she became the Chief Executive Officer of the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission. In 2018 she was appointed by Governor Hutchinson to serve as the first female Circuit Judge in Saline County. In 2019 she became the Chief Administrative Law Judge at the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission where she remained until January 2021 when she began her term on the Arkansas Supreme Court. Justice Webb lives in Benton, Arkansas. She has been married to her husband, Doyle for 36 years and is a proud mom to
three children, Cloie, Carlisle, and Sophie.

SUPREME COURT JUSTICE COURTNEY HUDSON

Justice Hudson is seeking re-election. She has served as a Senior Justice on the AR Supreme Court deciding thousands of cases for almost 15 years. She has been elected to the AR Court of Appeals (2009 - 2011), and twice to the AR Supreme Court (2011 - present).

CRAWFORD COUNTY DISTRICT COURT
JUDGE CANDIDATE LENA PINKERTON
Lena is a Deputy Prosecutor at the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office with 14 years of experience in the Crawford County District Court. In May of 2009, Lena began her legal career in Crawford County, when she was a Deputy Public Defender assigned to District Court. During the length of her tenure in District Court, Lena has been the dedicated misdemeanor prosecutor for Crawford County, the City of Van Buren, and the City of Kibler. Since 2011, Lena has prosecuted over 50,000 cases in District Court. She is a lifelong River Valley resident, and is a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She is married to James L. Pinkerton. Together they have five children, ranging in age from 19 to 2.

SEBASTIAN COUNTY DISTRICT COURT
JUDGE CANDIDATE JIM O'HEARN
Former Judge Jim O’Hern previously held this position from 2017 through 2020. O’Hern received his law degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Prior to taking the bench, he had a private law practice for 34 years in Fort Smith. He was recognized five times as Pro Bono Attorney of the Year for donating his time and legal expertise to the poor and elderly and was twice named the statewide Volunteer Attorney of the Year for the
Elderly by the Arkansas Bar Association.
O’Hern is a former adjunct professor at UAFS, and he is president of the Board of Directors for Arc for the River Valley, a United Way agency that provides recreational activities and advocacy for special needs adults, serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Arkansas Legal Services, the Sebastian County Law Library and is President of the Board of Directors for Village Harbor Property Owners Association. He is a member of Community Bible Church. Presently O’Hern is an attorney specialist for the Office of Chief
Counsel for the Arkansas Department of Human Services.

SEBASTIAN COUNTY DISTRICT COURT
JUDGE CANDIDATE WHITFIELD HYMAN
Whitfield Hyman is an Attorney with King Law Group. Whitfield has defended over a thousand criminal cases and sought justice in numerous civil cases seeking redress for 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendment violations
against government agents.
While in law school in Fayetteville, Whitfield was President of the Federalist Society for Law & Public Policy Studies and founder of the Criminal Law Society. He also held membership in the International Law Society, the Christian Legal Society, and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Whitfield also obtained prestigious externships, working for the Honorable Judge Chad Mason in the Circuit Court of Washington and Madison Counties and Congressman Steve Womack in Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District. Whitfield grew up in Marion, Arkansas and made his way to NWA after attending undergraduate at the University of Central Arkansas where he majored in Economics with a double minor in German and International Studies. While at UCA, Whitfield accepted scholarships which allowed him to study abroad in Germany and Canada and worked as an intern for the Department of State at the
United States Embassy to Greece in Athens.

STEVEN JOHNSON-DIST 13
Steve Johnson has lived in Crawford County in the Mountainburg area for seven years. He is currently the Dean of Students at Mountainburg Elementary and serves as a Mountainburg Reserve Police Officer. He is married and has three children. He has volunteered for various community organizations over the past 30 years, and is currently serving as a Crawford County Fair Board Committee Member. In addition to this, he has worked part time for
Maddison County EMS for over 10 years.

LLOYD COLE-DIST 4
Lloyd moved to Van Buren in 1996 following 20 years of service in the US Army and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has worked as a Realtor/Broker and as a State Parole Officer. He was first elected as JP in 2004. During the past 20 years, he has served 14 years as a JP. He was also Chairman of the jail committee that built the new Crawford County jail. He is a member of First Baptist Church with his wife. They have 2 adult daughters, both in education.

JOHN CARL HENDRICK-DIST 5
John has been very active in the Republican Party, both in the State, and is the immediate past Chairman of Crawford County. He feels the biggest issues facing Crawford County is the Library issue and the fact that our Sheriff Department is understaffed.

QUINCY COOK-DIST 4
Quincy has been a part of Crawford County for 37 years. He lives in Van Buren, with wife Rebecca. They have 6 children, one grandson and another due in May. graduated from Cedarville High School in 1997, from WestArk College with an associate’s degree in 1999 and from John Brown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems in 2005. He serves on the worship team and as a camera tech at Merge Church and works in IT at ABB in Fort Smith for the past 24 years.

JONATHON BAKER-DIST 5
Jonathon served 17 years in US Navy. He was an instructor, a volunteer, and has lived in 9 countries and 21 states. He believes his experience in the Navy gives him a unique understanding of communities, small and large. He believes he can contribute in areas of community engagement, resource allocation, planning & assessment, and commitment to excellence.
