Every year for quite a few years now,
Wine Industry Jobs has been supporting a very touching Scholarship called
the Esther Knewitz Memorial Scholarship that is generously administered by Sue Caloghiris from Bibber International.
This year due to circumstances out of Bibber's control, there is a very small application period available with applications closing in just 9 days.
From the reports that I have read from people that have returned from this experience, it is an invaluable insight into German winemaking practices, understanding Riesling amongst other grape varieties; and just as Esther would have wanted it no less, a heck of a lot of fun!
So if you would like to do a European vintage this year, then I urge you to apply for this scholarship, as the time limit will undoubtedly result in a lower number of applications which invariably means your chances are greatly approved.

We also have another Northern hemisphere Vintage role (this time USA) available for anyone keen to head North.
