TOP KART USA SUPERNATIONALS 20 PREVIEW
"Team sends in strong roster to biggest race of the year"

Indianapolis, IN - The Top Kart USA team is preparing for the biggest karting event of the year- the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The team has a stout roster of 14 drivers from across the globe ready to bring home victories and podium appearances. Top Kart USA will also have many strong drivers piloting their chassis through satellite teams, such as Glenn Araki's Team PKS and Francois Doran's Empire Karts team. After a strong 2016 season, Top Kart USA is ready to close out the season with a bang.

"Coming to this event the past five years as a full operation is always an fun and exciting way to end the long racing season for our team," says Blake Deister, co-owner of Top Kart USA. "We get together one last time for the largest event of the year. The biggest prizes, the best competition in the world, and the most exciting, close racing to watch in every single class. It really gives us the opportunity to showcase to the world how our race team operates and performs at the highest level in North American kart racing. We take pride in our accomplishments throughout the years we have been in this business and we are always looking to continue improving each and every race. Never having enough hardware on the shelves at our headquarters, we are always pushing harder to achieve more. Many great memories have been made with our Top Kart racing family and everyone involved with our team and we can't wait to continue creating more. That's what this is all about for us!"

The team will have Matteo Vigano (Italy), Top Kart USA factory driver, competing in the KZ category. Vigano has had a successful season in Europe, scoring a victory in Round 3 of the European championships, a top-five finish at the final WSK KZ2 event, and a most recent victory at the X30 challenge in Le Mans. He is coming into this event with great momentum, hoping to continue the success he has had overseas and clinch the victory at SuperNats 20.

Nick Ramirez (USA), Alexander Kardashian (USA), Niklas Kry (Germany), Abby McLaughlin (USA), and Marco Maestranzi (Italy) will all be piloting the Top Kart chassis in the competitive TaG Senior field. As a past TaG Senior winner, Maestranzi will have his sights set on the $20,000 purse that is up for grabs for previous winners of the category. He has appeared on the podium for the past three SuperNats events- a third place finish in 2013, a victory in 2014, and a second place finish in 2015. Maestranzi hopes to continue his streak and find himself on the top step of the podium once again.

The Top Kart USA team will have a strong  presence in the Micro Swift class with six drivers set to compete: Jamie Newton (Australia), Sebastian Ng (Panama), Sebastian War (Panama), Patrick Gillette (Panama), and Seven Aleman (Philippines). After a victory at the second round of the SKUSA Pro Tour at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana, Panama driver Sebastian Ng is excited for another chance to take home a SKUSA win in 2016.

Kameron Perry (USA) will be competing in the competitive TaG Junior category. Oliver Calvo (USA) will also be piloting a Top Kart chassis in this class. Calvo has earned a podium result at nearly every event this season, an incredible feat for his first year in the class. After a disappointing result at this event in 2015, he will be looking for redemption at SuperNats 20. Calvo has the speed and skill to be a frontrunner in this competitive field and will be one to watch for throughout the weekend.

In the Mini Swift class, Kaden Wharff
(USA) and Kasey Gillis (USA) will be piloting their Top Kart chassis with hopes of securing strong results to end their seasons. This will be Wharff's final race in the cadet division, moving to the junior division in 2017. He has had a strong season with consistent podium finishes, looking to end 2016 with a bang. Wharff will have the Top Kart USA team, along with his tuner Tim Shutt from Timmy Tech, giving him the support and coaching needed to make him a top contender in the class.

"Another year in the books! What a great season it has been for our team," says Bill McLaughlin Jr., CEO of Top Kart USA. "There have been a lot of ups and downs, but thankfully more ups than downs. Our sights are set on a fantastic performance for all of our drivers in Las Vegas, and we hope to give a great showcase of our latest and greatest chassis product line. There has been a lot of hard work and communication between the Top Kart USA and Top Kart Factory to make this masterpiece. It will be exciting to see it on track at this event, making its first debut. We are extremely confident that it will put on a great show for the audience. Many wonderful drivers are piloting the Top Kart chassis with us this year, and we cannot be happier to work with everyone and help them achieve success at this event."
