Introducing the TOSA Pool Early Bird Membership Guarantee!
For the past nine seasons, TOSA Pool at Hoyt Park has become a treasured community gathering spot and a place filled with special memories for many. TOSA Pool is operated by the Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We do not receive any tax dollars to fund our operations, so we rely on people like you.  

The TOSA Pool team is hard at work preparing to open our facilities as scheduled on May 23, 2020. To insure that we have the financial resources to do so in these turbulent times, we’re turning to you for help.  We ask that you purchase a 2020 membership now. 

We realize that there are still a lot of unknowns, so we are extending our Early Bird Membership Special through May 1st.  In addition to our traditional offerings of guest passes and TOSA Tumblers, we are adding a new Early Bird benefit for 2020, which will enable you to request a prorated refund.

The TOSA Pool Early Bird Membership Guarantee

  • If we open after July 1, you can request a 1/3 refund of your total membership fee.
  • If we open after August 1, you can request a 2/3 refund of your total membership fee.
  • If social distancing requires us to cancel the season all together, you can request a refund of the full amount of your membership fee.
 
But you must act fast! The TOSA Pool Early Bird Membership Guarantee is only available to those who purchase a membership through May 1st, 2020 and those who have already purchased their 2020 memberships.

Our physical facilities may not be operational at the moment, but we are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that once the restrictions are lifted, we will be ready to open quickly.   Our pool and grounds are being prepared and we’re implementing new cleaning procedures. We’ve hired our full crew of seasonal workers. Virtual training will begin soon and we’re hopeful that we’ll all be together again before you know it. However, TOSA Pool will remain CLOSED until we can safely operate under the law and comply with recommendations outlined by the State of Wisconsin, the City of Wauwatosa and the CDC.

FOHPP: Who we are
The nonprofit  Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool, which operates TOSA Pool, The Landing and the Grand Hall, raised money to build the pool, which opened May 28, 2011.. FOHPP has a 55-year lease with Milwaukee County and does not receive taxpayer support. The pool is named in honor of the project's lead donor: The TOSA Foundation.
TOSA Pool at Hoyt Park offers affordable memberships for families and individuals with daily admission rates that welcome visitors from across Southeast Wisconsin. Our strong focus on health and wellness is enhanced by swim lessons for children and adult fitness classes provided by our partnership with Wauwatosa Recreation.
In 2013, the Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool opened a new seasonal beer garden,  The Landing at Hoyt Park , to both create a supplementary revenue source for pool operations and to create a new space for fellowship that enriches the vibrancy of our community. People of all ages come together and build the relationships that make our neighborhoods strong.
In 2015, the historic  Grand Hall was renovated to preserve and build on its 1930s-era craftsmanship and extend The Landing beer garden usage. In addition to public gatherings, like Packers and Badgers viewing parties, the hall is available to rent for family celebrations, class reunions, birthday parties, business meetings, club banquets and weddings.
