A MESSAGE FROM TOM STOLTMAN,
SUPERINTENDENT,
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

Its the time of year again for the seasonal closing of Town facilities:

The two Porta-Potties, one at Vandervort Park and one on HWY 70 Bike trail, will be removed for the winter in the near future.

The community park and restrooms will be winterized and closed for the season, including the removal of the nets on the courts, starting the week of October 16.

Have a safe and fun winter and see you back in the spring.

Respectfully,

Tom Stoltman

The Town Board has been asked to help promote a special half-day recycling event open to all of Vilas and Oneida Counties.

Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations of Onalaska, WI, one of the event sponsors, will have two semi trailers at Riverside Park in Eagle River and will accept specific items, including certain electronics.

This is a free event, but participants are asked to bring an unexpired, nonperishable food item for the Vilas County Food Bank as an entrance pass.

The St. Germain Town Board of Supervisors provided this message. If you wish to contact any of the Town's officers, please visit the "Elected and Appointed Officials" page of the TOWN WEBSITE.
