Recent meetings have focused on property management, trees, urban outreach, cataloguing all trails in Duval County, and creating a "Registry of Special Public Places."

TPF Helps Defend Julington-Durbin Creek Preserve From Development Approach
One of the city's preserves in southern Duval County, Julington-Durbin Creek Preserve, was recently in the sights of a local developer. TPF along with other conservation groups rallied community members and long-time JDCP advocates against the proposal; these efforts succeeded and the developer dropped its idea. Thank you to all who stood up for this public land -- and for demonstrating that protecting public lands is a continuing activity. Read more here.

TPF is a new member of JaxChamber.
