The Propane Council of Texas (ProCOT) is proud to announce that they are joining GeneratioNext Propane Pros in their workforce development program to provide propane marketers with qualified job candidates.

The Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has two big TERP programs with deadlines on Friday, March 22, 2024.

 Alternative Fueling Facilities Program (AFFP)


TCEQ's AFFP offers $12M grants for alternative fueling facilities. Apply by Friday for up to $600K. Highlights: 


- $12M in grants available

- Up to $600K or 50% project cost

- Priority for small businesses

- Must be in the Clean Transportation Zone

Light-Duty Vehicle Incentive Program (LDPLIP)


TCEQ's LDPLIP offers incentives for new light-duty vehicles converted to propane within the first 500 miles.


- Statewide

- $5,000 per LPG vehicle

- Vehicle purchase/lease/converted after Sep 1, 2023

- Must be EPA certified; installation must be done in Texas

Propane Community Watch: Stolen ASME Tanks

Cactus Tanks is asking for your help as several domestic ASME tanks have been stolen from their tank yard in Kilgore, TX. A report has been filed out of Longview, Texas, and an investigator has been appointed for the case. Members should be aware of the lookout for these 225 - 500 gallon Triarc tanks.


The list of the tanks that have been stolen is here.


If you have filled one of these tanks for a customer, please notify Cactus Tanks. They appreciate any and all help in this matter.
