Propane to Be Featured on
FOX & Friends This Weekend

On October 7, 2023, the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) will be celebrating National Propane Day with live segments on FOX & Friends and FOX Weather.
Matt Blashaw, a general contractor, HGTV host, and PERC partner, will lead the FOX hosts through an outdoor oasis of propane appliances. The segments will feature a propane grill, pizza oven, fire table, fire feature, patio heater, and power generator.
Broadcast times will be announced on Friday, October 6th, in the PERC Update and on PERC social media. Mark your calendar to tune in to FOX & Friends and FOX Weather on National Propane Day, October 7th.

Another $500M Clean School Bus Grant Round Opens | |
|
The EPA is offering $500 million to replace school buses with propane alternatives, providing up to $35,000 per bus. Eligible applicants include school districts and transportation contractors. The old buses must be 2010 or older diesel models and will be replaced with cleaner new propane buses, model year 2022 or 2023.
Priority school districts, including rural, low-income, large enrollment, and tribal schools, can receive between $30,000 and $35,000 per propane bus. Other eligible districts can receive a reduced grant of $20,000 to $25,000 per bus.
