A Full House for the Ken-Ton Chamber

This month The Plan Room hosted the Kenmore-Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce Open House and Happy Hour, celebrating the Chamber’s move into its new offices right here at 2075 Kenmore. Chamber members, local business owners and community partners packed the building for an evening of networking, food and a first look at the Chamber’s new home.

It was a great example of what this building is for: people who do business in this community getting in the same room. Thanks to the Chamber’s sponsors, Better Business Bureau, Crown Benefits Group, Pro Muscle Lifting Club, SJP Credit Union and The Talent Shop, for making it happen.

A lot of local talent showed up too. Kevin’s Catering handled the food (word is the taco dip and homemade chips were the hit of the night), Fête built the balloon displays, Plan Room member New Gen AV ran the music, and Paula’s Donuts and Enzi Cakes & Sweets brought the treats.

Welcome Kevin's Catering to The Plan Room

If you were at the Chamber Open House, you’ve already had a taste. Kevin’s Catering has been cooking for Buffalo and Kenmore since 1999. Kevin’s handles everything from corporate lunches and drop-off catering to weddings, holiday parties, tailgates, graduations, church functions and fundraisers, with full event staffing for setup, service and cleanup. Kevin’s Catering joins The Plan Room with a storage locker and a 24/7 open work desk, giving the business room for equipment and supplies plus a place to handle the office side of things at any hour. Catering doesn’t keep banker’s hours, and neither does The Plan Room.

Welcome Parlor City Furniture to The Plan Room

Parlor City Furniture has leased a private office at The Plan Room, giving the Binghamton-based commercial interiors dealer a home base in Western New York.

Parlor City is a full-service commercial furniture partner. They plan the space, source the product, and deliver and install it. Their work covers office seating, desks and workstations, conference and training tables, storage, glass and demountable walls, office pods, acoustic panels and sound masking, branding and signage, and custom casework and millwork. They work across offices, hospitality and healthcare, sourcing from hundreds of manufacturers and backing it with white-glove delivery and installation.

If you’re a GC, architect or owner with an interiors package on the board, you now have a furniture and FF&E partner down the hall at The Plan Room.
