Grandparents Are the Glue Which Holds Us All Together

Grandparents are a source of unconditional love, wisdom, and guidance. We we feel incredibly fortunate to have their support at our schools! As our students continue to grow and face new challenges in life, we know that the love and the values you've instilled in them is something that they will carry with them throughout their school years. You are not just grandparents; you are heroes, role models, and a wonderful gift to us all. Continue to #ElevateYourImpact as you cheer them on each day.

Get in the Game!

Our schools are transitioning into Online Ticket Sales for our sporting events. Please follow the Facebook pages of your child's school for ticket information. The public will be able to purchase General Admission tickets through the link provided by the school.

We utilize SchoolCash Online as our online payment system for school fees. If you haven't done so already, please set up a guardian account and connect your children to the account. Our students are offered $5 ticket prices through the platform.

Shop Local for the Big Game

Show your school spirit by choosing to shop local this gaming season. From restaurants, to rentals, gear for the games, and the perfect look for homecoming, purchases made at our tangi businesses directly impact the funding for our schools in a postive way. Now, that's something to cheer about!

SCHOOL ATTENDANCE COUNTS!

September is Attendance Awareness Month

Establishing consistent, predictable morning routines is essential to attendance & participation in school. When children know what to expect in the mornings, it helps them to greet the day with comfort and confidence. An easy start at home could make for an easier transition onto campus. #ShowingUpTogether

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING

There is Hope

Sometimes life can be challenging, and we all face difficult moments. It's important to remember that there are people who care about you and want to help if you ever feel overwhelmed or sad.

Here are some important things to remember:

Talk to Someone You Trust: When you're feeling down, it's essential to reach out to someone you trust, like a parent, teacher, friend, or family member. They care about you and want to help.

Share Your Feelings: It's okay to talk about how you're feeling, even if it seems difficult. Sharing your feelings can help you feel better and allow others to understand what you're going through.

There's No Shame: It's essential to know that there is no shame in asking for help or talking about your thoughts and feelings. Everyone faces tough times, and seeking support is a sign of strength.

Professional Help: Sometimes, it's necessary to speak to a mental health professional like a counselor or therapist. They are trained to help people who are struggling with their emotions and thoughts.

You Are Loved: Never forget that you are loved by those around you. Even when it feels like nobody cares, there are people who deeply care about your well-being.

Take Care of Yourself: Remember to take care of your physical and emotional health. Eat well, exercise, get enough sleep, and engage in activities that make you happy.

Learn Coping Strategies: It can be helpful to learn healthy ways to cope with stress and difficult emotions. These can include deep breathing exercises, mindfulness, or engaging in hobbies you enjoy.

Stay Away from Harmful Things: Avoid things that can harm you, like self-harm or drugs. These may provide temporary relief but can make things worse in the long run.

Panorama Survey: SEL Competencies

TPSS students will have the opportunity to participate in an upcoming online survey to allow for insight into each student's opinions about the school he or she attends and the school's approaches to learning. These online questionnaires will help students reflect on their mindsets and learn more about themselves. The data collected will be shared for informational purposes only with each child's teachers and school leaders and will not be used for any other purpose.

The survey window will open September 25th - 29th, 2023.

Students and families will receive information on how to log in to take the survey once the window is open.
