Bottom Line Up Front

Claim.Amaq_.Israel.Hadera.28-March-2022.jpg

Islamic State attacks in Israel are rare. So rare in fact that there are preposterous conspiracy theories that circulate among online communities saying that Israel must be funding IS because they never get attacked. Until now, the fact that more attacks do not happen should be a testament to the thorough work of the Israeli security apparatus and the difficulty getting through Israeli borders. In recent claims of credit, IS actually claimed two attacks; an armed assault against Israeli Border Police on 27 March 2022 and a lone wolf attack in Be’er Sheba, Negev Desert, Southern Israel that occurred on 22 March 2022. On 29 March 2022, another incident took place involving a lone gunman opening fire in Bnei Brak City Center, east of Tel Aviv.

If Islamic State claims this third attack in Israel in seven days, then Islamic State has enacted another new network threatening the nation. Typical lone wolf attacks in Israel involved knives, not guns. The fact that the last two attacks in Israel involved guns, indicates that, at the very least, they have a new logistical supply chain into the nation.

New Website Created ‘Third Position Directory’ Racist Guide

 to Everything Worldwide

Image:  Website Created 'Third Position Directory' Racist Guide to Everything Worldwide

On 23 March 2022, a website called the Third Position Directory was created, the thoroughness of the links to other racists websites should be alarming. Third Position ideology emerged in the late 20th century during a period of resurgent neofascism. Originally it provided an alternate stance between capitalism and communism, syncretizing right-wing cultural beliefs with left-wing economic beliefs. It has since morphed in response to the growing white nationalist movement to embody more separatist ideas and now, seeks to overthrow the existing global political structure and replace it with monocultural nation states based on supremacist racial nationalism and/or supremacist religious nationalism. On this new website, nearly every nation, barring most African nations, in the world is represented, as well as every state in the United States. The website is a true directory in the sense that every little link from the homepage stay on the site; most link to either other websites such as the disturbing whites-only dating website 'White Date. net," or the even more alarming 'white-only spaces' on the Settlements landing page for the Pacific Northwest of the United States to Burgundy in France to Orania, South Africa. There are 120 different 'activists' clubs ranging from all the chapters of #131 Crew / NSC 131 to the Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM) and the White Lives Matter (WLM) movement.

Image: After Planting a Bomb, Bandits Hijack Kaduna/Abuja Passenger Train – 28 March 2022

On 28 March 2022, around 8:00pm local time, a passenger train from Abuja in route to Kaduna was stopped after a bomb planted on the train’s engine detonated. It should be noted that some accounts reported that the tracks were the location of the bomb and had derailed the train. Eyewitnesses report that after the train had stopped, bandits on motorcycles surrounded the train, shooting indiscriminately into the train and forcibly boarded. Passengers were directly reporting to social media to be in fear for their lives and by 9:42pm, the military had yet to arrive at the scene. At least one person, a female doctor, was shot and killed and many of the 970 passengers are feared kidnapped. Ironically, the train was only a few kilometers away from its destination the Rigasa Train Station.

United Nations (UN) Puma Helicopter Carrying 8 Pakistani and Russian People Shot Down in North Kivu, Eastern Congo

Images: Six Pakistani Nationals Killed in Downed Helicopter in North Kivu, Eastern Congo

Although it remains unclear as to the details of how the Puma helicopter was downed, the fog of war is clearly at play here. The Congolese military blames Rwandan forces for backing M23, who haven’t attacked since November 2021, while the M23 have denied downing the helicopter. With that being said, Islamic State Central Africa (ISCA) is very active in North Kivu and thus, it is very possible that the attack has been misattributed. Neither M23 nor ISCA are known for having ground-to-air power; however, ISCA has been steadily gaining momentum and it was through Islamic State channels that TRAC learned of the downed helicopter, suggesting that they are indeed behind the attack.
