2027 IS HERE AND NOW
It's true. As far as travel planning is concerned 2027 is here and needing your attention.
As mentioned often in previous communications, demand for quality travel experiences, both individual and group, is at an all time high. At the same time major tour operators are downsizing a number of their programs to accommodate fewer travelers to allow enhancements and deeper immersion into experiences enjoyed by their guests.
An example of downsizing is world travel leader Collette and their Explorations program. Maximum number of participants is 24 with a normal average of only 19. This is important because we use a number of Collette programs with their financial stability and unmitigated quality as the foundation upon which we construct our one-of-a-kind personally-hosted FEATURE TRAVEL group experiences by "adding" special included "features" resulting in "one price includes everything" tours not available anywhere else.
All this requires we must secure necessary travel components for our special FEATURE TRAVEL tours years in advance. Results of this are shown in the right-hand column with our 2027 FEATURE TRAVEL opportunities. Clicking on pictures or titles will open detailed four-page brochure. Each comes with a "Reservation Deposit Refund Guarantee" explained in the brochure. With this protection there is absolutely no reason not to reserve your space now while availability is assured.
A very significant number of spaces on these 2027 opportunities are already secured by astute travelers who "put themselves in position" with our exclusive PYIP-PUT YOURSELF IN POSITION early reservation program.

DON'T FORGET TO CLICK
Detailed brochures for remaining 2026 and 2027 FEATURE TRAVEL personally escorted and value added group tours open when you click on their photo and title links appearing in the right hand column of this page.
See "Door Closing Soon" article below for important informtion.

DOOR CLOSING SOON
As this is written, we only have four 2026 FEATURE TRAVEL opportunities left. All others have had the door shut to further reservations.
That door is also about to close to further reservations on these four remaining 2026 opportunities. Don't be locked out left in the dark.
Consider:
-
This is the "last call" for AMERICA'S 250TH BIRTHDAY. Several remaining spaces gone when reserved or March 20, whichever occurs first. This will be personally hosted by Chris Sillin.
-
Spaces were recalled on MEMORABLE MICHIGAN last Friday. We "may" be able to call in a favor and get two more spaces back if request is made immediately. This will be personally hosted by Paula Axman.
- Reservations on Maine and Christmas Markets will be closing soon.

"GO AWAY GERTIE" REPORTING ...
... Hey Gals - This Month l Am Shifting Gears
Ordinarily I urge you to get off your "duffs" and gather up your female family friends, leaving the guys behind, and enjoy the wonderful world of travel experiences that are waiting for you.
That's great. It's something you should do.
However, this month I want you to shift gears and urge you to use the leadership capabilities you gals all have to urge your families - that's kids, grandkids, parents, and grandparents - to enjoy the multl-generational travel opportunities that await. I guarantee, "travel memories will be made and shared that will never be forgotten" when you travel as a family. What a magnificent legacy to pass on.
Opportunities are unlimited. However, one you need to consider is cruising because there is something for all ages. Not all ships qualify. Many do. Two you should consider are the "Star Princess" and "Sun Princess."
It doesn't cost anything to use the services of the professionals at Cheyenne Travel/Please Go Away™ Vacations. We have every possibility for you to consider. We will save you time and money. Most importantly, we will be "right there" for you before, during, and after your travels with unmatched personal service to answer all your questions and address any concerns.
Go Away Gals - be the natural leaders you really are.

WHEN YOU THINK YOU ARE OVERWORKED CONSIDER MAINE'S "LOBSTER LADY"
Known as the "lobster lady," Ginny Oliver recently died at the age of 105. She ruled Maine's lobster waters for over 80 years. Every morning from June to December, she woke before 3 a.m., pulled on her boots and overalls, and topped her look with vibrant pink lipstick.
Out on Penobscot Bay before sunrise, she would work the waters to capture Maine's number one aquaculture product - lobsters.
The New York Times described her as "a folk hero to Mainers - an enduring, if fading, emblem of the state's hardy, matter-of-fact work ethic."
Ginny, and many others like her, are the many true "Mainers" that add a "down-to-earth" dimension to the great natural wonders one is exposed to when experiencing the "Pine Tree State."

RODIN'S "THINKER" SUGGESTS YOU THINK ABOUT THIS
Travel Insurance Regularly
Saves the Day"
Travel insurance in today's travel world should be a part of every travel plan. It has saved our clients hundreds of thousands of dollars. Being so important, it is "always" included as one of the special included "features" of our personally hosted and value - added one price includes everything FEATURE TRAVEL group experiences.
Always compare and deal with a professional that can properly advise. A number of quality travel insurance companies regularly sell their programs through full time travel professional organizations like Cheyenne Travel/Please Go Away™ Vacations.
Very important! Our team works with our clients to secure the best available program for your specific needs. There are insurance programs we don't recommend. Oftentimes those we don't recommend provide future travel credits in lieu of cash payments and also provide much less protection than the best travel insurance companies.
A major travel insurance company recently published "seven reasons" to make sure you travel with travel protection insurance.
-
Because you don’t want to lose all your money if you have to cancel your trip. Even the best-planned trips sometimes have to be canceled. But many travel providers - such as tour operators, cruise lines and airlines - offer minimal or no refunds for cancellations.
-
Because accidents can - and do - happen while traveling. Healthy travelers often think they don’t need emergency medical insurance. The truth is, no one’s immune from illness and injury.
-
Because your health insurance probably won’t work overseas. If you get seriously sick or hurt in another country, don’t expect your health insurance card to help. Many foreign medical facilities and providers require cash payment up front and do not accept U.S. insurance plans. "Medicare does not provide coverage outside of the United States,” the U.S. Department of State warns.
-
Because medical evacuations can be really expensive. If you get seriously sick or badly hurt while traveling overseas, and you need to be taken via helicopter to the nearest high-quality hospital, the cost can be enormous. In some parts of the world, a medical evacuation can potentially cost six figures - and that doesn’t even include the expense of getting you home again.
-
Because travel delays are inevitable. Airlines’ on-time stats rise and fall from year to year, but on average, around 18% of domestic flights are delayed. That’s not even counting the flights that are canceled! That’s why you need travel insurance with travel delay benefits, which can reimburse you for additional accommodation, meals or travel expenses and lost prepaid expenses due to a covered departure delay.
-
Because a missing bag can ruin your trip. In a recent survey, more than half of travelers said an airline had lost their luggage in the past. Just 34% of them ever got their missing bags back, and 72% said they’d lost an irreplaceable item.
-
Because sometimes, even expert travelers need a little help. One of the best reasons to buy travel insurance is the peace of mind you get from knowing help’s just a phone call away. When you face a crisis while traveling - a medical emergency, a lost passport, a stolen wallet, a natural disaster, etc. - you can always contact 24-hour assistance.
Our team is ready to answer your questions. As a fully-licensed provider of travel insurance we can serve your needs totally.
