TRMA and JJC Inspire Future Workforce with Ninth Annual Manufacturing Day

The Three Rivers Manufacturers’ Association (TRMA) and Joliet Junior College (JJC) recently held their ninth annual Manufacturing Day event, welcoming over 800 students from 16 high schools across Will and Grundy counties. Participants engaged with around 42 organizations to explore careers in manufacturing and technology.

Ray Woodworth, TRMA’s Executive Director, emphasized the goal of connecting local businesses with future talent, inspiring students to consider rewarding careers in manufacturing. The event included keynote speaker Jordan Dixon, a STEM expo, and interactive learning activities.
