Mission Moment

All of it meant so very much.

TRU regularly receives thank you notes such as the following. Our thanks to Raegan for sharing some of these with us, and thank you all for the work that you do each day.

❤️

Dear all employees of TRU Community Care,

I can't begin to thank you all enough for everything you did for my mom. From the many phone calls I made to you all, to the nurses, to the CNAs -- literally EVERYTHING -- advice, medicine, kindness, compassion, friendship, phone numbers... All of it meant so very much!

You all are very, very special to me and the care you gave my mom was beyond anything I could ever have expected! You guys have a kindness I have never experienced before.

Thank you so very much.

TRU Updates

TRU at the Colorado Rockies, August 10, 2022

The true winners at the Colorado Rockies game were members of the TRU family who enjoyed one another's company over brats, dogs, and cold beverages. It was a treat to come together after years of social distancing and separation.

Thanks to all who came out!

Side note:

Not everyone at the game had as good a time as we did, and fortunately for one of those individuals, TRU Summit Team LPN Ricci DuBois was on the scene to help out. (Ricci is the woman whose face is visible in this photo.)

Volunteer Grief Support with Richard Mercer

Wednesday, August 24 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. via Zoom

Hospice volunteer work is Heart Work. Holding space for your patients isn’t always easy. Their expected deaths may still be hard. In recognition of the toll these deaths can take on your own heart, we invite you to process with TRU Grief Counselor, Richard Mercer. Healthy grieving is real. Take this opportunity to acknowledge what you are feeling and reflect on your experiences with others who ‘get it.’
