HACTC is a good partner
We are so grateful to HACTC instructors and the program for being flexible by allowing our students to participate in Interim to the extent that they want to. We pursued this after feedback from prior HACTC students and are so happy that they are willing to work with us to provide our students with the best program we can!
HACTC Successes:
Joey Thibodeau '24—Has a paid internship at Toyota (Auto Mechanics)
Jacob Jeffries ' 24—Hired by Hartford High School (Information Technology)
And, congratulations to Rowan Royael '24, who was named HACTC Culinary Student of the Month!

Flu and COVID season is upon us
A couple of students have been out of school this week with strep throat. Symptoms may include pain and fever. Students with strep throat should see a doctor for antibiotics before returning to school.
Students with a simple cold or flu should wear a mask at school. And, although COVID-19 is no longer considered an emergency, variants are still circulating among us, so to keep our community healthy, TSA asks that anyone with such symptoms test for COVID.
Remember: Day Zero is the day someone either first tests positive or first feels poorly (whichever comes first). The patient should stay home for the 5 days following Day Zero after which they may re-enter the world while wearing a mask until they test negative or until Day 10 (whichever comes first).
For the high school community, this is an especially important protocol to follow as they start Interim. Thank you!
