Congrats to Our Latest

Housing Connection Training Participants

We would like to congratulate the housing counselors and nonprofit professionals who successfully completed our Housing Connection training June 17th - 21st in Dallas.

The 50 participants trained represent 33 organizations in 23 cities across Texas, and we're proud to say that 100% of them would recommend the training to others.

Thank you to our training provider, NeighborWorks America, and our sponsors (included below) for making this a big success. With our sponsors' support, TSAHC was able to award 26 scholarships to participants.

Rebuild Texas Fund Awards

Second Round of Funding for HEART Program

We're excited to announce that the Rebuild Texas Fund has committed an additional $1.1 million in funding to the HEART Program.

C reated by TSAHC and Enterprise Community Partners, the HEART Program provides grants and technical assistance to nonprofits providing housing assistance to families displaced or otherwise affected by Hurricane Harvey.

TSAHC and Enterprise Community Partners will build upon the work done with the first round of funding by continuing to provide home repair grants, programmatic grants and technical assistance to high-performing nonprofits dedicated to Hurricane Harvey long-term relief.

As mentioned above, the HEART program provides technical assistance webinars designed to increase capacity for local nonprofits. These are open to any nonprofit , regardless of whether you are a HEART grantee. Register for one or more of the remaining webinars below.

Who Qualifies for the Homes for Texas Heroes Program

In honor of National Homeownership Month, TSAHC is taking the opportunity to spread the word about our Homes for Texas Heroes Program.

Authorized by the Texas Legislature, the Program provides fixed rate mortgage loans, down payment assistance and mortgage interest tax credits to professionals working tirelessly to help keep our communities strong.
