TSAHC is excited to announce two new updates to our homeownership programs that will launch in early April.
New "Homes for Texas Heroes" Bond Program
The new "Homes for Texas Heroes" bond program will be available in April with limited availability (first come, first served) and offers the following benefits to
Texas Heroes
who are first-time home buyers: (1) lowest interest rate of all TSAHC grant products; (2) 4% down payment assistance grant on all government loans; and (3) first-time home buyer requirement is waived, and higher income and purchase price limits are allowed in
Targeted Areas
.
New Second Lien Down Payment Assistance Options
Also in April, TSAHC will begin offering 3%, 4%, and 6% second lien down payment assistance options as well as a new HFA Preferred
PLUS
conventional loan that offers a lower interest rate to income-eligible home buyers.
Please note that upon launch of these new second lien products, our MCC program can no longer be combined with our HFA Preferred conventional down payment assistance products.
